  1. Hey Biggs,

I drove by 1865 North Fuller Avenue just to check it out, and the whole area is, indeed, creepy and gooey.

It appears the superintendent has not checked on the ooze and the electrical box.

I wonder if the housing authority needs to get involved? But then again, you know how government people are.

  2. That area has really gone downhill in recent years.

I often wonder what Old Man Nelson would think … God rest his soul.

Canyon Park has certainly seen better days.

Where the hell does all that goo come from??

  3. Well Biggs, there is that lard rendering facility on the upper side of the canyon, but they were shut down a month ago after the explosion and violations, I thought.

When I was a kid, Canyon Park was the place to see all the nice Christmas lights and the decorations, as long as you held your nose and took along an air freshener for the car. Those were the good days, indeed.

Old Man Nelson? Yes, I agree with you. God rest his soul as he lays on his couch in Florida watching television and complaining about the occasional rain.

He made a good profit when he sold some land to the lard rendering facility. He deserves his rest, bless his heart, but he would always throw what appeared to be feces at our car when we drove by to see his nativity scene.

    What a character!

  4. The picture of the harmonica reminds me of the old joke:
Why did Bill Clinton give up his saxophone? Because he wanted to spend more time on his whore-Monica.

I got a million of ’em!

  5. Bill Clinton broke the eleventh commandment:
Thou shalt not comfort thy rod with thy staff.

I got a million of ’em!

  6. The podcast feed has been broken in itunes for a long time.. unsubscribing and resubscribing doesn’t seem to help.. can you guys have a look?

  7. Yeah, Danb we’re aware of the problem.

It seems to affect some and not others. Those outside North America particularly seem to be having trouble with iTunes. Are you on a boat? Or perhaps one of those difficult-to-pronounce countries?

We are looking into it. in the meantime, I suggest you visit out website, AskMrBiggs.com where you can find all the latest shows, and even bonus material not on the normal feed. I understand you can even post comments and such. Although I’m unfamiliar with that process.

    Next call,

  8. Unfortunately, my boat sank.. it’s complicated.

I sent you a private email with my new location.. I just can’t have everyone knowing where I am… If you could ship the latest episodes to that address at your earliest convenience I will have my 8-track machine all warmed up.

  9. Just discovered your show, it’s fantastic, funniest podcast I’ve heard in a long time, thanks! Just wish the feed would let me download the first 21 shows. What have you got, some problem with us foreigners or something? 🙂

  10. Why, yes. I do have a problem with foreigners. Especially the ones with silly hats. But this had nothing to do with that.

The feed has been repaired. All shows should be available via the feed now.
